All-on-4™

All-on-4™ is a revolutionary reconstructive procedure that provides results that last a lifetime. It uses just 4 implants to secure a permanent denture to either the lower or upper arch. This is a great option for people suffering from severe tooth decay, gum disease, or missing teeth. Since it is a permanent denture, there is no need for adhesives used in traditional dentures, or extensive cleaning. You’ll simply brush and floss your new teeth as normal.

Procedure

The entire process from start to finish will involve several visits with Dr. de la Fuente. We’ll first schedule a consultation visit to discuss treatment options. A 3D scan of your teeth and jaw will be taken during your initial vist. With this we can create a new set of teeth that best fits your smile.

During the main procedure, sedation will be administered, leaving you in a dream-like state. The remaining teeth in the arch will be removed and 4-6 implants will be installed. These implants, small titanium screws, are set into the bone of the arch. At the end, you’ll leave with a full set of functional teeth and no memory of the procedure itself.

The All-on-4™ procedure, while less invasive than other restorations, still needs time to heal. You will come back to the office about 3 months after the implants and the first set of teeth have been secured. This allows the bone and gums time to heal and stabilize. At the 3 month mark, a more permanent and durable set of teeth will be affixed to the implants.
